about
Hey, I’m Quentin. I started Atelier Noyo as a way to make furniture and objects that feel slower, warmer, and more personal.
While I grew up in the north of France, many of my strongest memories come from the countryside of Loire where my family is from. As a kid, I spent number of hours in my grandpa’s shed playing with his tools. He would show me how to use a hammer, and I would mostly use it to smash things if I’m being honest. It took me years to use these same tools to learn how to build things with my hands.
Those early memories stayed with me. Long summer nights. The smell of pine forests on the hills. The worn wood of my grandma’s bench by the front door. Old stone houses, quiet roads, small villages, and objects that carried years of use.
Atelier Noyo is built from those memories. The pieces are named after places I’ve visited. Places that hold something for me.
The work is not about making a lot of things quickly. It is about making fewer objects with more attention. Solid wood furniture, lighting, and objects made in small batches or made to order.
Each piece starts with a simple question: what does this need to do, and how can it do that beautifully?

Our principles
Atelier Noyo is a small furniture atelier focused on quiet forms, honest materials, and pieces that carry the hand of the maker.

Memory as a material
Every piece starts somewhere personal. A village, a road, a house, a bench, a smell, or a place that stayed with me.
Functionality before beauty
A detail only stays if it serves the piece, the room, or the person living with it.
Small batch, full attention
Every piece starts somewhere personal. A village, a road, a house, a bench, a smell, or a place that stayed with me.
Made to feel human
The work carries the hand of the maker. Quiet forms, honest materials, and objects that feel lived with over time.
Intention over speed
We move at the pace the work demands. Rushed furniture rarely ages well.

Let's chatFAQ
How does made-to-order furniture work?
Each piece is built after your order is placed rather than kept in stock. This allows the furniture to be made specifically for you and reduces unnecessary production.
Can I customize the size or finish?
Yes. Most pieces can be adjusted in size, wood species, finish, hardware, or storage layout. Larger changes may be treated as a custom commission and priced separately.
How long does it take to receive a piece?
Lead times vary depending on the piece and the current production schedule. Most made-to-order furniture takes several weeks to complete. You will receive an estimated timeline before placing your order.
Do you require a deposit?
The price shown on the page at time of checkout is the full price of the piece. It is paid in full before the work start.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes. Local delivery can be arranged depending on your location and the size of the piece. Delivery costs are calculated separately and confirmed before your order is finalized.
